Do you make a shot list and if so how do you go about it? Do you read the script and formulate visually what you want to happen or do you make a story board first and then your shot list? Do you get suggestions from your cinematographer? Does the cinematographer play a large or small role in creating your shot list? It seems to me this is a very important organization part of telling the story effectively so that people know where to go and what they are doing next and it seems that would even helps with managing costs.
