My goal as a student at LA FILM School is to become a seasoned photographer and filmmaker. I am dedicated to mastering the art of color grading and editing, which I believe is essential for the success of any filmmaker. In addition to improving my skills, I am also focused on growing my three companies – LaVellay Entertainment Production, a Christian ministry, and a business with my twin brother. I am confident that my passion for the industry and my faith in God serve as the foundation for my work, and I am excited to bring my unique skills and perspective to the industry.
Recently, we had a class discussion on promoting ourselves through social media. This was an incredibly informative session as having a strong online presence is vital for reaching a wider audience and showcasing your work as a filmmaker. I was amazed to learn about various strategies and platforms that I can use to promote my brand and connect with potential collaborators and clients.
As I enter my fourth week at LA FILM School, I am nearly finished with the first class of this month. The quality of instruction and the opportunities to network and collaborate with other students have far exceeded my expectations. I am eager to continue my learning journey and grow as a filmmaker, and I am incredibly optimistic about what the future holds for me in this industry.
