Television & Film Awards 2017 competition
is open for entries. NYF’s World’s Best
TV & Films? competition has celebrated content
in all lengths and forms since 1957 and continues
to honor exceptional programming being created around
the globe. Annually NYF evaluates the TV & Film
Awards competition categories to insure that the competition
is relevant and responds to world-wide programming
trends and creative/technological advancements within
the industry. For the 2017 competition Rose Anderson,
executive director, has introduced new
categories to the competition’s extensive

TIFF
Kids International Film Festival April
07, 2017 to April 23, 2017
The principal objective of the TIFF Kids International
Film Festival is to present the best of contemporary
and classic film for children, youth and families. Its
mandate is to feature the most outstanding children's
films produced in every part of the world. Films are
selected on the basis of quality and originality. Preference
will be given to films not previously screened at a
festival in Canada. TIFF Kids also promotes contacts
between industry professionals and educators to assist
in developing the role cinema plays in the education

early September.
