January is the start of a new slate, a new year with whole new perspectives! Usually, beginnings are slower and take more time. From what I’ve seen in the past years, nothing really happens this month. This makes me wonder if January is a good month to start a project. Is January a good month for filmmaking?
January is a great time to start working on your projects. You can start writing down the logline for your next short film, and test out your gear or new VFX.
My classes start on 16’th January. I have so much free time now, I could work on a few projects. However most of the people I could work with are not available because they are taking some time off.
In my opinion any month is a good month for filmmaking! However, I don’t think a lot of productions from the studios happen at this time.
