Oni ! I took these self-portraits to test my new camera

I am a big fan of Japanese culture. The Oni Mask is a powerful symbol of Japan’s rich culture and history.

The Oni Mask is the main inspiration for a future Samurai-themed photoshoot. I will borrow a katana from a sword collector. I still need to find a Kimono. It seems that it will take a while until I manage to gather all the required props.

Until then, I have tested my new camera and lights and taken these portraits.

I used Sony A7III R, with Sony 70-200mm F4.0 lens, 2 Godox AD200 Pocket Flash and Godox TTL XPRO-S. I used Adobe Lightroom to edit the colours and Adobe Photoshop for the second portrait.
