Cameraman/Editor. Dubai – Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

#FlashbackFriday #FBF  Do you remember our Community Spotlight with Suresh Chellodukathu?

“Regularly, I do all kinds of corporate films for the industrial sector, big stage live shows, music albums, studio shoots also.”

Inspiration:
“When I was child , I was interested in photos of nature. From age 15, I used still cameras and video cameras. And, when I was school, I saw a film, “Beautiful People,” which was my first inspiration to study more about photography.”

Biggest Challenge:
“Once I was in a documentary shoot in a forest, and suddenly lightning and rain came. And, I wanted to shoot elephants, also. I was very afraid and alone from my group. But I captured all that moments of elephants and rainfall. It was challenging work I did in my life.”

Solution:
“I always need fearless crew with me to face any situation.”

Favorite Tool:
“As a cameraman, I like all cameras. But I’ve used more the Sony Beta cam SP cameras. So, I’m a little in love with that camera. I got lot of precious moments with it, so…”

Favorite Technique:
“When rolling my camera, I am already starting the editing in my mind. I’m also an editor, but all of my camerawork, I am not editing.” Suresh says that whenever possible, while filming, he thinks ahead for the editing stage and tries to avoid possible complications the editor might have on editing table. “If a cameraman knows about little editing techniques, then that will help to get good images, I think.”

Filmography includes:
Journey to Death (Cameraman) Docu Fiction
Sumanhally (Editor) Docu Fiction Obsession with Nature (Camera/Edit) Musical Theme
Camtech (Camera) Corporate movie
… And others.
