This 2-day class will explore the art of cinematography through intensive practical group experience while emphasizing creativity and collaboration. Students will learn how to build the lighting design and camera set up in a professional environment. This unique opportunity sharpens their technical skills through hands-on practical experience, but the ultimate goal is to facilitate growth as creative storytellers and filmmakers.

– Learn how cinematography can elevate the story and plot points in a scene

Certified User Camera Training Workshop

This 3-day training course covers all aspects of shooting with the ALEXA LF, ALEXA SXT, ALEXA Mini and AMIRA.

Experienced working professionals will teach this class using real-world production scenarios. At the completion of the class you will have deep knowledge of the functionality of the ARRI line of cameras in addition to advancing your creative skills.

Each class has a limit of sixteen attendees to insure ample hands-on, and high ratio of time with instructors. You will be provided with a detailed introduction to ARRIRAW and other recording formats, ARRI look workflows, as well as the ARRI Electronic Control System. You will receive hands-on instruction with an ARRI camera kit, and on computers loaded with post-production software. Typical on-set situations and exploring common post-production workflows, will be included. Experimenting with the application of different ARRI looks and LUTs to suit individual setups will also be part of the hands-on teaching.
