“My last project that I completed was my 3D animated short called, Faithful. I did it for my MFA as my thesis project. It was featured in New York City Short Film Fest this past winter, and will be part of the official selection at DigiFest.com in Italy this fall, as well as Palm Springs Short Film Fest in California, also this fall.”
Current projects:
“I’m working in collaboration with some other StudentFilmmaker.com friends. Guys that I have just got in touch with through the site. The first project is a mix of CG and live action. It’s more of a test then anything, as we both want to use this as a learning experience. The idea is Stefano Sgambati’s, and he also provides the live action footage. For this project, I will do a futuristic city in 3D that will be composed together with the live action using bluescreen techniques. There is no deadline set for the project, but just look out for it on our profiles on http:// networking.studentfilmmakers.com/. “The second project is more of a solo thing, as I just wanted to see how well I could place 3D objects in a regular live action shot with no bluescreen effects. For this project, Darren Meyers, another StudentFilmmakers member, has provided me with some really nice B/W 16 mm clips that I hope to be able to create something cool with.
“My third and last project is probably my biggest, but it is also a ways into the future. Can’t say too much about it yet, but I can say it will be a 3D animated kids series for TV, but it will take some serious cash flow to get going, so we got some work to do there.”
