The pandemic cancelled all major events in my country. For two years, everything was postponed or cancelled. I have been waiting for things to get better because I really missed going to a conference.
During these years, there were many online events and I attended a few of them. But I really missed meeting real people, in real life and having an actual conversation with them. There are many things that happen when you attend an event offline.
A few days ago, I finally attended my first conference after the pandemic. I enjoyed meeting and talking with like-minded people. Networking is done better in person than online.
The location was beautiful, too.
