VFX / COMPOSITING ARTIST WANTED — INDEPENDENT FEATURE FILM
We’re looking for an emerging VFX artist, film student, recent film-school graduate, or self-taught VFX enthusiast to help with a low-budget independent feature film.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build experience and get a real feature-film credit.
The work will involve:
- Basic compositing
- Rotoscoping / masking
- Motion tracking
- Removing or adding simple digital elements
- Working with existing digital assets
- General VFX cleanup and shot finishing
You don’t need to be an industry professional. We’re specifically interested in someone who is learning VFX and wants an opportunity to apply those skills to an actual feature film.
Experience with After Effects, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve/Fusion, Blender, or similar software is helpful, but we’re more interested in your ability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
What we’re offering:
- Paid compensation (small independent-film budget)
- Official screen credit
- Opportunity to work on a feature film
- Material you can potentially use for your portfolio/reel
- A chance to work directly with an independent filmmaking team
This would be a good fit for a film student, VFX student, recent graduate, or self-taught artist who wants to get their first real feature-film experience.
If you’re interested, please send a short introduction and examples of any VFX/compositing work you’ve done — even personal projects or student work.
Location: Southern California / remote depending on the work.
Please email for details. [email protected]
